Brenda Roberts stars as the youngest Bayreuth Brünnhilde in history (1974)


Brenda Roberts was the youngest soprano ever to sing Wagner’s Brünnhilde at the Bayreuth Festival. She sang the part in the 1974 production Siegfried. This excerpt features the “love duet” between Brünnhilde (Brenda Roberts, soprano) and Siegfried (Jean Cox, tenor).
